Jupiter is the planet of growth and expansion, optimism, humor, philosophy, politics, and religion. Images include a rotund politician speaking to the masses or someone who is "jovial" and constantly joking. Jupiter types constantly want to improve things. The difficulties of Jupiter include greed, over-enthusiasm, and snobbery. But when Jupiter expresses itself positively it opens up situations and benefits everyone with its generosity.

Gemini is the sign of the juggler. Geminis can often be distinguished by their open mouth -- they rarely stop talking. If they are not talking, then they are thinking, and usually figgiting. If there is any animal associated with Gemini, it would surely be the monkey. With their litheness, speed, curiosity, agility, wirey frame, and nervousness these animals surely epitomize Gemini.

Geminis will often be doing many things at once so they don't get bored. A Gemini way of reading is to have five or six books which they read in a round robin fashion. Jupiter in Gemini creates a frenzied atmosphere in which people tried to get too much done at once without a plan or, oftentimes, proper priorities.

Geminians can often be found in sales positions, where they can "show and tell", a favorite Gemini pastime. Geminis are like switchboard operators, jugglers, or airport traffic controllers in that they love to have many possibilities up in the air while they handle the immediate situation with speed (since another ball is on its way down). Geminis will often be reading five books at once, or juggling two phone conversations. They have also been known to juggle lovers...

With Jupiter in Gemini, everyone will be incredibly busy and active and juggling one hundred things at once. Jupiter's expansive qualities get Gemini to where it has hundreds of things it is trying to do, and the natural result of juggling too many balls is that some get dropped (but often after the person has become very tense trying to keep too much going).

So Jupiter in Gemini is opening up to hundreds of possibilities and trying to juggle them all. After all, you wouldn't want to lose a possibility! So the frantic quality of Jupiter in Gemini comes from trying to fly in a hundred directions at once, and keeping them all straight.

The more positive side to Jupiter in Gemini is growth in the ability to communicate. People will gain knowledge about better ways to communicate or expand their ability to think. In other words, the higher side of Jupiter in Gemini is through focusing on the Jupiter and not letting the Geminian schitzophrenia get out of hand.

During this time people will expand their minds, and have humor based on wit, quips, and intellectual humor. Increases in speed of traveling, oommunicating, and thinking will occur. During Jupiter in Gemini fast dances with lots of energy are in vogue.

Since Gemini also rules speed and convenience, there will be advances in both these areas. The Concorde started its flights and Frozen Food was invented with Jupiter in Gemini.

This conjunct feels like an information explosion -- if you are not careful your energy will be directed in too many directions and you will become too scattered.

However, people will be upbeat about "activity" and about movement which makes the racing around seem less tiring.
