The Professional version from Matrix is the WINSTAR program. WINSTAR costs $200 and runs on Windows 3.1 or Windows 95. Its ephemeris runs from 600 BC to 2400 AD. There are over 200 chart wheels built in. It does natal, secondary (progressions), tertiary, minor, solar arc, degree-for-year, transits, returns (solar, lunar, or any other planet!), Synastry, composites, midpoints, harmonics, and lots more! Does searches or transit to natal, transit to progressed, transit to transit progressed, etc. Void of course Moon, stationary points, and parallels. Lists of hits which simultaneously include transits and progressed hits! Also ephemeris printer and screen updater. However, it only has a 7000 city atlas (Winstar Plus has a 200,000 city atlas). If you are serious about astrology, WINSTAR is an excellent choice.
WINSTAR plus costs $300 and includes a Professional Graphic Ephemeris and Ephemeris Generator, Midpoint Ephemeris, Astro * Kaleidoscope and Calculator (animated charts!), and a publisher which allows creativity in the printed output. Winstar plus is worth it for the 200,000 city atlas alone (compare to atlas cost following).
International Atlases cost $195 for the US and $195 for the world or $295 for both. These supply the longitude, latitude, and time change for you. You simply have to enter time, date, and place.
Winstar express is the version for amateur astrologers. It has natal, transits, and progressions as well as synastry, bi-wheel, tri-wheel, and quad-wheel. It costs $99.95. You can also purchase abbreviated forms of the chart interpretation programs for $99.95 apiece. If you get the Winstar express and three report programs, the cost is $299.85 (4 for 3 special).

Requires 640K RAM, DOS 4.0 or later, EGA or VGA monitor, and an HP-compatible LaserJet or Epson-compatible 9- or 24-pin 144-dpi printer (limited support on 9 pin). Matrix time change atlas only $25 additional when purchased with E-Z charts. Has 3000 year ephemeris (600 BC to 2400 AD). Single, bi, and tri wheels. Batch processing.
QuickCharts is $100. It does natal, transits, progressions, solar and lunar returns, and parallels. It draws to the screen from which you can do a screen dump. Requires 640K, hard drive, and EGA or VGA graphics. Screen dumps to Epson, Hewlett Packard, and color printers.
