Saturn in Libra

Saturn represents government leaders and especially presidents. Saturn is exalted in Libra, which means that Librans look up to Saturn – they respect the increased ability to judge correctly that comes with age, they respect the solidity of Saturn when they are oscillating. Eisenhower was the golf-playing elderly statesman. “We like Ike” was the pin people wore. Although Britain abolished slavery throughout the commonwealth, it took the U.S. another 30 years and the Civil War to abolish it.
